Heal Your Relationship With Food

Elyse offers a non-judgmental, therapeutic approach to nutrition counseling for the treatment and prevention of eating disorders and disordered eating.

Personalized Approach

Partnership Based On Trust

I frequently work with clients who have negative attitudes toward food and their bodies. I am deeply committed to providing a warm and safe environment where I can develop and nurture relationships with clients and families that build trust and true relationships. Together we can set and attain realistic food and movement goals and take small steps while celebrating achievements along the way. Through this approach, we make lasting changes to one’s belief system and form a healthy relationship with food to last a lifetime.

I empower my clients by providing them with the fundamental knowledge, tools and skills to move away from negative or fearful feelings about food towards a healthier belief system. On a parallel track, I work with clients to develop a satisfying meal structure that offers both balance and variety.

My clients span in age from teen to adult and come to me with different challenges and goals.  Because of this, the path to one’s nutrition goals is different from person to person. When needed, I work closely with family members and other loved ones. I believe that all members of a treatment team must work together to provide the most effective support. Consistent contact with other providers, such as psychologists, primary care physicians, pediatricians, psychiatrists and social workers, ensures a centralized approach and stronger partnership to support and help promote positive outcomes.

I look forward to connecting with you and answering any questions you may have.
